Money Market Accounts

writing with this completely liquid account. Funds can be accessed via
checks, a Peoples Bank ATM card or through withdrawals at the teller
window. The interest rates are tiered so that the more you invest, the more
you earn. Best of all, there is no monthly maintenance fee if you maintain a
minimum $500 daily balance.
Elite Market Accounts
Open your account with a balance of $10,000 or more to qualify for the attractive rate tiers of an Elite Money Market account. Similar to the basic Money Market account, accessing your funds is just as easy. No monthly maintenance fee is incurred if you maintain a minimum $10,000 daily balance.

Savings Accounts
Looking to open your first savings account, or just need a place to set
aside money for unexpected expenses? Open your savings account today with
Peoples Bank. Two basic options are available with a minimum balance
requirement of only $100.
Passbook Savings
Transactions are printed in a passbook so that the reconciling is done

Statement Savings
A more sophisticated savings account, complete with monthly statements
and issued receipts for record keeping purposes. In addition, you may
utilize a Peoples Bank ATM card for added convenience. |
Youth Savings
Let Peoples Bank help your child learn the fundamentals of savings. This
account, available in both Statement and Passbook formats, offers all of the
features of the regular Savings accounts, however, the minimum balance required
to earn interest is only $10. In addition, Youth
Savings accounts are not subject to minimum balance requirement fees.
Certificates of Deposit
A certificate of deposit offers what alternate investments can’t – a
guaranteed fixed return that is also FDIC insured. Peoples Bank offers a
wide variety of terms and rates to meet any and all of your investment

Individual Retirement Accounts
Our Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) offer unique tax and income
advantages for your retirement nest egg. IRAs can be opened using any term
certificate of deposit you choose.
Traditional IRA
Interest earnings on this account are tax deferred and contributions may
reduce your tax liability.* Anyone with income is eligible to contribute (up
to age 70 ½). There are expanded options for penalty free distributions. |

Roth IRA
Contributions to a Roth IRA are not tax deductible, but there is no
taxation on
interest earnings at maturity. There is no age limit on contributions and
distributions are
not required at age 70 ½.
