Advantage Checking
A Peoples Bank Advantage Checking account is ideal for higher balance
customers who want to earn interest on their funds. A $5 monthly fee can be
avoided by simply maintaining a $500 average daily balance in the account.

Moving your Account to Peoples Bank
It’s never been easier to move your account to Peoples Bank. A new account
representative will help you through the process:

When opening your account, establish direct
deposit of your government benefit check, pension or payroll
deposit.

If you have automatic payments deducted for your
bills, notify all vendors of new account information.

Pay your current bills with
Free Online Bill Payment
from Peoples Bank or your temporary checks to eliminate using checks
from the account you are attempting to close. A Peoples Bank
representative will print additional checks if needed. Your new
checks and Express Check debit card should arrive within seven to
ten days.
- Once direct deposit is established into new
account and all checks on your old account have cleared, close the
old account and transfer the proceeds to your new Peoples checking
account.
