 | Supervise and
schedule teller’s work to insure sufficient staffing, efficient and accurate
processing of transactions, and maintenance of favorable customer relations.

 | Prepare combined teller totals daily, prepare daily cash letter and check
deposit, approve teller totals, and assist tellers with balancing problems.
Open and close banking center. |
 | Maintain vault cash at appropriate level,
obtain and sell cash, verify incoming cash. |
 | Process routine daily work
promptly: returned checks, correspondence, and interdepartmental
correspondence. |
 | Direct training of new tellers, evaluate performance of
teller with banking center managers. |
 | Receive customer inquiries, take
responsibility for resolution of customer problems and complaints. Monitor
correction of account errors, and control correspondence to customers
regarding corrections. |
 | Give assistance to tellers with difficult
transactions or corrections, providing follow-up assistance which will
enable them to handle situations themselves later. Approve deposits and
withdrawals above teller’s limits. |
 | Perform duties of teller as necessary.

 | Accurate approval of customer transactions requiring a supervisor approval.
|
 | Proper check holds placed on following Reg CC Policies.
|
 | Assist in the new
accounts area. Counsel customers on deposit and loan products. Open deposit
products, originate and close consumer and mortgage loans. |
 | Responsible for
teller staff in all areas of sales and customer service. Oversee that the
Banks service and sales standards are upheld by continual coaching and
training. Every teller should be able to successfully cross-sell and promote
bank products. The Head Teller is responsible to keep staff motivated and
communicate the overall corporate goals. |
 | Insure that each teller portrays
the Banks tag line, “Friendly People For Today’s Banking” and delivers the
Best Banking Experience to customers both in person and by telephone.

 | Have
the leadership skills necessary to work and think independently. Keep the
office manager informed on the areas that need additional training and
coaching so that the staff remains optimistic and committed to the
long-range success for the Bank. |
 | Any other duties pertinent to the position
as requested by supervisor. |
 | Proper documentation of CIP and BSA
requirements. |
 | Follow the Bank’s security procedures from opening, closing
and operations of the Banking Center. |
 | Assist Banking Center in meeting the
standards for referrals and cross-sales. |
