Director of Marketing and
Communications
Summary:
Responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the
Bank’s marketing strategies, marketing
communications, and internal and external public relations activities.
Oversees the development of support materials and services for all
lines of business in the areas of marketing,
communications and public relations. Directs the efforts of the marketing,
communications and public relations staff, and coordinates at the
strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the Bank.

for developing, executing and measuring the success of:

 | a comprehensive marketing,
communications and public relations program that enhances the
Bank’s image within the marketplace and positions the Bank for
financial growth opportunities. |
 | a strategic and tactical marketing plan that is
aligned with and supports the Bank’s strategic financial growth
goals. |

Integrates data mining and database marketing
functions into the marketing planning function. |

Analyzes and utilizes customer and market data to
identify opportunities and develop strategies to profitably increase
new and existing market share. |

Develops and executes advertising campaign
strategies that are consistent with the Bank’s image and brand, and
that support the Bank’s strategic goals. |

Provides editorial direction, and oversees the
design, production and distribution of all Bank publications and sales
support materials. |
 |
Monitors the appearance of all print and
electronic materials for consistency with the Bank’s brand. |
 |
Coordinates media interest in the Bank and
ensures regular contact with target media and appropriate response to
media requests. |

Acts as the Bank’s
representative with the media.

Relationships & Contacts:
The position reports to the Chief Executive
Officer and serves as a member of the senior management team.
The position has primary working relationships with the CEO, senior
management team, staff of the marketing, communications and public relations
function, and coordinates with key vendors and the media.
Qualifications:

Seven
or more years of relevant, progressive marketing experience, preferably in
the banking industry. |

Demonstrated skills,
knowledge and experience in the development and execution of marketing,
communications and public relations activities.

Experience
with database marketing; able to develop and execute effective marketing
and communications strategies based on market and customer data
intelligence.
|
 |
Results
driven with strong strategic, analytical, creative, and organizational
skills.

Able
to achieve measurable results within budget.

Effective written and
verbal communication skills.
|
 |
Experience
overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
